Hot Stones Massage

A hot stones massage is ideal and great in my opinion if you want a slightly deeper version of the Swedish massage.

During a hot stones massage, heated, smooth stones, usually basalt are used to relax the muscles, ease pain and reduce stress and anxiety by promoting circulation and releasing endorphins.

Using the hot stones to warm the skin allows the skin to absorb moisturising and therapeutic oils, while at the same time preparing the musculature of the body so the therapist can work into the deeper the muscle layers.

Benefits

A hot stones massage combines the benefits of Hydrotherapy and Thermalism or Thermotherapy (the use of heat application) with massage strokes, using stones to create a deep, relaxing and healing therapy session.

Try a Reflexology and Massage Package for an extended 90 minutes or 2 hour session.

For example:

90 minutes: 1 hour reflexology session and a 30 minute back, neck and shoulders massage or a 1 hour body massage and a 30 minute foot reflexology session or a 30 minute natural uplift facial massage or Indian head massage combined with a 1 hour body massage or a 1 hour reflexology session
2 hours: 1 hour foot reflexology and 1 hour body massage
