I offer Natural Luxury Pedicures where I treat and pamper the feet, but without the adding of any nail vanish at the end of the pedicure.
Using a nail buffer, I will polish the nail surface to create a consistent and shiny look on the toenails.
A pedicure is a therapeutic treatment that removes dead skin, softens hard skin and files and treats your toenails.
They're a great way to ensure that you look after your feet and may help to soothe and relax you when combined with other treatments.
Natural pedicures care for the feet in the following ways:
The word pedicure is derived from the Latin pedis meaning 'foot' and cura meaning 'care'.
My luxury pedicure will include nail cutting, shaping, removal of hard rough skin from the feet, nail cuticle work and buffering of the nails so they are nice and shiny.
Also, a luxury mandarin and citrus foot soak in my pedicure bowl and then a peppermint and blueberry foot mask will be applied to the feet and disposable foot booties will be used.
Whilst the foot mask is on the feet I will then perform a relaxing hands massage with your choice of either a rasberry and cotton hand lotion or if preferred grapeseed oil.
Then I finish the luxury pedicure with a lovely foot and lower leg massage with a mandarin and mint foot and leg lotion. I also apply an aloe vera and cocoa butter cuticle massage cream to the cuticle areas. This is designed to deeply nourish cuticles.
I wear disposable gloves to perform the pedicure and use a Mandarin Spritz hygiene foot spray. I also use disposable nail files and disposable buffers on the toenails and disposable pedicure rasps on the skin of the feet for hygiene reasons.
For your comfort and mine, I cannot treat anyone with a fungal infection on their feet or nails.
